We had the trick or treat inside our subdivision a little late. It was supposed to be October 31 but there was a typhoon again so we moved it to November 2. Trick or treat is a part of our Halloween celebration. We also had the Thriller dance contest.
Other nations are celebrating Halloween so why don’t we? We organized the first trick or treat in our place last year and decided to have it every year. Each household contributed candies and we had stations on every street where the candies and goodies were distributed. What good about it was, everyone participated. The kids, seven years old and below, did their rounds in their Halloween costumes while the adults were enjoyed watching them and giving goodies.
After the trick or treat, prizes were given to those who have the scariest Halloween costumes. Guess what? RJ won the second prize. Yeepee! I think flower child Halloween costumes are cute but I had no time to buy one so I just colored RJ’s body with red and applied scary make up. She wore my old black dress and a black shawl, and it turned out scary.
It was an exhausting but fun-filled day. Everyone is looking forward for the next year’s celebration.

Buti pa sa lugar nyo may ganyan. Kami sa SM lang nag trick or treat pero di lahat e nagparticipate. May mga stores na KJ. hehehe!
Ang saya naman ng mga bata
