Fishing is an excellent hobby for people who love outdoors. It is an inexpensive way to share quality time with your family most especially your kids. However, you need a lot of patience, the proper supplies and some know how.

I wouldn't say that it is cheap to do. Might start out that way but it snowballs really fast if you catch the bug to do it a lot.

great photo.
Nice capture of pond/lake reflecting the trees. And I agree with your description.
personally I find fishing boring. Iยดd rather sit in a kayak. But it is a good WW shot. BTW, my photo was supposed to be sharp this time. I wanted a frosen effect. ๐
I agree with y0u!when y0u do fishing y0u need alot of patience.fishing are widely practice here in taiwan just f0r fun s0me are outdoors and there are indoors c0mmercially running everyday! the stronger and the flexible
A lovely water shot. I would love to catch some barra, what we get here in South Oz ia all farmed small fish and rather tasteless. Give me the fruits of nature any day. Must disagree with you about equipment and know-how, you don't really need them to go fishing, jut to catch something and there is always beginners luck to rely on. Fishing is nlt necessarily for catching anything, it is for the stillness of waiting and hoping and restoring one's soul. A catch of course is a fine thing and exciting and a wonderful bonus!
Thanks for commenting, hope you come again. My door is always open.

I've never been fishing, apart from catching mackerel from a boat, but I envy fishermen their patience and calm – and often stoicism as they sit under huge umbrellas while the rain falls.
Oh fishing has always been my passion. I always wanted to go deep sea fishing in the open seas in a boat. The only place I went fishing to before was in fishpens. I also love kite flying. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.
