Kindle e-Reader with Wi-Fi, 6″ E Ink Display

Lighter, smaller, faster, with built-in Wi-Fi…what else could you ask for? If you are an avid reader then the Amazon Kindle is the gadget for you.

Affordable and Lightweight
The basic Kindle e-reader from Amazon now starts at 79USD that can hold up to 1,400 books…definitely a price that’s very hard to resist. Averagely if you want a good read, you spend 8USD-34USD for a paperback. Just imagine how much the 1, 400 books will cost you…a lot of fortune! Plus you will need a big room to store them all while having a Kindle e-Reader is like having a walking library that is less than 6 ounces.

Easy on the Eyes
Because of Kindle’s high-contrast E Ink display, you will be spared of the pixel blur even on full-page text. What is E Ink by the way? These are cartridges inside a thin liquid polymer layer, arranging the “ink” in much the same way as an LCD screen yet looks like and feels like paper with no glare so you can read even under the sun. You can also read in any position because E Ink also gives the screen uniform contrast ratio that does not change with your viewing angle.

User Friendly
You are not that techie? Well, you’re not alone. Don’t worry because you can use Kindle e-Reader right out of the box…you don’t need to set-up anything and don’t have to download any software and because it has built-in Wi-Fi, you can use it and read even you are on the road as long as the area is Wi-Fi hot spot. The text is available in 8 sizes thus you can adjust and enlarge it to the size that is comfortable with you.

Long Battery Life
A single charge lasts up to one month with wireless off based upon a half-hour of daily reading time. Keep wireless always on and it lasts for up to 3 weeks. Battery life will vary based on wireless usage, such as web browsing, and downloading content.

At first I wanted just a simple e-reader but now I’ve been eyeing Kindle Fire. I can’t wait to finally own one but I must read all my paper books first. 😀
