Most of the time, Mother’s Day means a day with the family in the mall, eating out, breakfast in bed, or personalized crayon scribbled cards. This year, we had a different celebration. Different in the sense that all Mommies in the family (maternal side) were gathered together and celebrated Mother’s Day with their families…a grand reunion at the beach! It was a treat from our generous and loving Tita Melba. Thank you very much, Tita!
And if there’s one happiest Mom, it’s Nanay. She was in her chic black summer dress. She’s still beautiful at 62.
It was also the first time I see Mom laughing since her youngest sister died.
