I want healthy food for my family, not just nutritious but also food that are safer, purer and more natural. However, organic food cost a little bit extra thus I started my own organic garden. My veggies are planted on pots because we don’t have extra space here at home. At first my only goal was to give my family good food to eat. I didn’t know that it would also be a hobby for me.

Growing plants from seed is very rewarding. Nurturing them from the very beginning and watching them grow gives me a special sense of delight. Though I must admit organic plants need healthy amount of care which means extra time and effort. Aside from the usual gardening tasks like watering, staking and yanking the weeds, you need to have composters to make your own natural healthy soil to keep your vegetables pure and natural. You also need to make your own organic pesticides.
Organic gardening may sound daunting and complicated but believe me, if you will use the right tools and do some research, everything would be easy.

I would love to do organic gardening too! You’ll have to teach me ehehe right tools and research …. hmmm I’ll consider it after I recover from my surgery 😉
weee! I wish I have patience in planting those here. (as if i have to wait and watch them grow every minute no?) Unfortunately I can’t bring produce galing dyan. Iba pa rin gulay natin kesa ung andito. 🙂
i miss having those garden patch in the yard…when i was small, we have our own version of bahay-kubo in our yard, my mom is such a green thumb…i wish i can do this very soon, i will probably start with herbs on post, as there isn’t much space in our rented place…
this is very inspiring! ^_^
kakatuwa naman. i don’t have a green thumb. plant dies under my care. with or without doing anything…;)
I wish I could do that but unfortunately I was not gifted with a green thumb.
Makes me miss mom’s garden at home. I can also just grow them on planters like this…we don’t have a garden for me to tend on more, just basil and other herbs. Great job!
wow, so cute namn ng organic mini garden mo, we also use veggies and fruit scraps as fertilizer for our plants, hubby is more matyaga magtanim ng veggies, me nmn is more on decorative plants 🙂
i also do organic gardening in pots in my backyard. I have rosemary, oregano, thyme, tanlad etc. that i use for cooking 🙂

It’s really good organic foods specially vegetable. It really gives you nutrients and no chemicals for your food intake. It would also be a wonderful hobby too. 😀
I also wanted to have our own vegetables garden. Dami na sakit sa mundo na nakukuha dahil sa chemicals. Pati eggs gusto ko organic na din 🙂
