Charlie’s Angels

Charlie’s Angels is one of the most successful series of the 1970’s. It is about three women who work for a private investigation agency and one of the first shows to showcase women in roles traditionally given to men.
The TV series inspired two feature films from production company Flower Films: Charlie’s Angels (2000) and Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle (2003), both directed by McG and starring Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, and Lucy Liu as the three angels.

The first movie was released on November 3, 2000. This is about the gorgeous detectives search for the missing angel and discovered a wealthy man’s scheme to kidnap super models and clone them.

The second movie was released on June 27, 2003. This time the Angels investigate a series of murders that occur after the theft of a witness protection profile database. Their prime suspects? A “fallen angel” who was once their ally and the Creepy Thin Man.

I have seen the two Charlie’s Angels movies and I can say both are not so good. I watched this just because of Cameron Diaz. Although contrived and a bit silly this movie is an action filled escape.
