A Wheat Farm to Fork Experience

Therefore, to receive benefit from wheat it is important to choose wheat products made from whole wheat flour rather than those that are refined and stripped of their natural goodness.
Wheat, like any other food, takes an interesting journey before it becomes delicious muffins, bread, pies, tortilla or pasta dish. And by completing the program, you will be able to give wheat to those in need. The council will donate two pounds of flour up to 90,000 pounds to Operation Homefront, a non-profit that provides assistance to needy U.S. troops and their families.

This will teach them how this most important cereal crop in the world and most consumed grain in America, is an important part of a healthy diet.
