Nowadays, with the booming busy society, having a good dependable car is very important. It does not only get people where they need to go. It also made people richer not only in terms of material values but also in the knowledge and experience. That is why more and more people are dreaming of having a car of their own. However, due to financial constraints, not all people can afford to acquire a brand new one. But the good news is, there are used cars available in the market today like the Accords for sale in Provo. For less than half the price of the average new car, people can now have their own car loaded with the same features as the brand new one. With the huge inventory they can definitely find their ideal car for the least amount of money.

But of course, buy used car only from dealers with guaranteed real automotive experience. Also, no one knows how these used cars were driven except for their previous owners so even though the car has passed inspection by a factory-trained mechanic/technician, look over the car thoroughly before accepting delivery. This mean you won’t be dealing with service repairs anytime soon after purchasing the car.

Why not buy a used car?
My husband and I acquired a second-hand van
and used it for a school service business.
So far, the van is still in good condition because
my husband sees to it that it’s being well-maintained.

one great advantage of buying 2nd hand car is that they are cheaper but sometimes, you can end up on car that has damages internally

we’ve had used car and i think it went out well. it served us for almost 10years. i guess it is really important where you get to buy used cars and inspect thoroughly.

someone told me before that the value of a new car depreciates 30% after it steps out of the car store. This is the reason why for me it is more practical to buy a used car. If you don’t know anything about cars, just bring a car expert with you so that you can choose the best car suitable for your needs.

Used cars would be really good for young individuals or even families with a limited budget.. 🙂 Personally though, I’d love to still invest on a brand new one.. ^^

Buying used car is ok for me as long as I am accompanied of a person who knows very well in cars, who will inspect all the parts and components.

This is great information. It actually took me back a few years in my mind. I used to work a lot with F&I managers at used car dealerships when I was an underwriter for a large auto finance company. I think it’s also important to shop around for the best price and financing. In today’s economy, many folks are struggling with poor credit as a result of a season of unemployment or from simply over-extending themselves, financially. Sadly, it’s the norm for finance managers in the dealerships to do whatever they can to get a deal bought by a bank for the greatest profit. The end result isn’t always in the customers best interest, but rather the dealerships. Just what I’ve seen over the course of the 13 years that I worked in that industry.

if i may add, better yet to have a mechanic with you upon inspection and test driving 🙂 2 to 3 yrs of usage/age will be of a good deal, and never buy used cars beyond 5 yrs. of age 🙂

resale value is also of high importance 🙂

We never buy brand new cars! We found we can get just as reliable of a car for a lot less money when we purchase used cars. It’s amazing how much the value of a car drops as soon as it is driven off the lot, and brand new cars are the worst with the biggest value drop after purchased. We much prefer to buy a car 1-5 years old which turns out to be just as good.

Although with our finances, we’ve never had anything newer than a 15 year old car. And we’ve done well with our used cars, as they’ve all lasted us many years before any major repairs have been needed.

It’s good to buy used cars if there are cost constraints but just be careful and inspect all key components and be sure it feels right. Sometimes car do have their own masters and have their respective quirks.

Used car is always practical for me just as long as you follow these tips you have mentioned, it’s a good buy.
