I Love Billiards

Girls, generally, do not like playing billiards. Only few love this sport and I am one of the few. No, I do not know well how to play but I love watching nine ball especially if it is Efren “Bata” Reyes, also known as the Magician, who is playing. He is more than just one of the best. His ability to kick balls into intended pockets is just amazing. I am his number 1 fan that is why I want to learn billiards very much. Good thing is my sister was able to buy a second had junior billiard table at a very affordable prize. However, accessories were not included so I helped her look for some billiard supplies. Every time I go to their place, this is what I am doing, learning to play billiard.

Notice the two ladies behind? They are my Mom and sister-in-law. They were laughing at me because I can’t shoot a cue ball.

Bonding Time

She is growing up too fast that is why I am enjoying every minute of her childhood. Below is the mosaic of one of our bonding time.

A daughter may outgrow your lap, but she will never outgrow your heart.

Pampered Feet

I had a great time yesterday or should it be my feet had their great time yesterday? My feet are the most battered part of me (second to my hands) yet they get the least attention. Yesterday, I had them pampered. If only they could talk they would probably thank me.

I visited my favorite salon yesterday, had foot spa and pedicure. It is the biggest salon near our place with good ambiance and great service. They are offering different services including foot and hand spa, foot and hand paraffin treatment and body massage.

However, I was too engrossed on blogging that I tend to neglect and not treat myself on spas often. How I wish I have my own spa at home, complete with hot tub, spa cover and all, so I can soak any time. Truly one of the best ways to relieve stress is to plunge on a hot tub. It can provide therapeutic benefits and can ease the transition in deeper sleep. And for a blogger like me who are awake most of the time, a hot tub can help in recuperating.

Why Pigs are Pink

Every time RJ draws a pig, she colors it pink. Then one time she asked me, “Mommy, why are pigs pink?” My little girl believes that Mommy knows everything so as not be embarrassed from my daughter I did some research.

Except of course from the wild pigs and boars, pigs are commonly white. But because of the blood vessels under their skin, they appear to be pink in color. The newly born piglets are more pinkish because they have thinner skin so blood vessels are more visible.

My in-laws pink pig tissue holder.

Seems like my daughter is not the only one who believes that pigs are pink.

Enough Love

Since this is the last week of the love month, we are asked to share what we are willing to do for our loved ones. When I asked myself, a bad incident from my past flashed my mind again. What am I willing to do in the name of love? I can sacrifice my life for the one I love. I am sure of that because I have done it once. I am not proud of what I did though and it is the stupidest thing I did in my entire life. But when you love the person very much, you can do the unexpected even if sometimes it means crossing the line. So for Rhonnel and RJ, I can take a bullet or an arrow for them literally as I am sure they would for me. But it does not need to happen just to prove how far I can go for them. They already know what I can do for them and willing to do any time, everyday.

For my dearest RJ:
?I am more than willing to be her teacher forever. I will not get tired answering her questions even if it is about love and having crush. (she is just eight but she is asking too much questions about those things)
?I will always help her with her projects even if it means sacrificing my “me” time.
?I will always prepare her favorite foods even if it means bugging me on my blogging.
?I will laugh, sing and dance with her until I get old and get hoarse voice and weak knees.
?I will always be her best friend though she keeps on reiterating that her best friends are Czarina and Jhanelle. (jealous Mom here…sob…sob)
?I will always be her mentor, confidante, shock absorber.

For Rhonnel:
?I will always be his secretary who will never get tired updating his cash book in the office.
?I am happy to let him go sometimes and have the boys’ night out with the 6G’s.
?I will always listen to his rants and sentiments in the office.
?I will massage his back, prepare his favorite meals, watch movies and learn so many things with him.
?I will always be the most understanding, open-minded, caring, loving wife.
? I will always be his number one fan.

I want to share with you a beautiful short poem from Emmet Fox.

There is no difficulty that enough love will not conquer;
no disease that enough love will not heal;
no door that enough love will not open;
no gulf that enough love will not bridge;
no wall that enough love will not throw down;
no sin that enough love will not redeem…
It makes no difference how deeply seated may be the trouble;
how hopeless the outlook; how muddled the tangle; how great the mistake.
A sufficient realization of love will dissolve it all.
If only you could love enough you would be
the happiest and most powerful being in the world…
